CapeSoft Training at ETC
A CapeSoft Training Session will be held in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on Tuesday June 8th 2004, from 1pm to 5pm at the ETC 4 venue.

For more details on ETC go to http://etc.kcug.org

Training will be free of charge and will be aimed at those people who already have the following CapeSoft products:
NetTalk
Replicate
Insight Graphing

This will not be a sales pitch, but rather a more detailed look at using these tools to make you more productive in using them. Training is open to all ETC 4 attendees and is free of charge. More details will be posted on relevant web sites as they become available.

Our thanks go to the Knoxville User Group for allowing us this opportunity to meet with our existing customers, and for making the venue available to us for this time.

Regardless of whether you attend this training or not, if you are a serious Clarion programmer we strongly recommend that you take this opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the best known Clarion developers around. Both the formal sessions and the informal opportunity to mix with other developers is indispensable in improving your programming skills. We cannot stress enough how valuable this time will be.

CapeSoft Price Increases
As from 1 May 2004 there will be a general across-the-board increase of all CapeSoft Accessories by around 15 to 20%.

We want to stress up front that this will _not_ affect licensed users in any way. If you already have a license for an accessory (or if you acquire it before 1 May) then this price change will simply not affect you. You will continue to receive free upgrades for as long as we continue to issue them.

Tip of the Week: Draw
People often ask us what sort of functions they can add to their program using our Draw template. As you probably know Draw is a high performance drawing engine that gives you complete control over 2D and 3D drawings.

While high speed, low-level drawing commands are desirable in themselves, Draw is also an engine on which we are going to be basing future products. The existing CapeSoft Progress product is an example of this, leveraging the power of Draw.

But Draw is also useful by itself. A recent addition to the Draw package is an example of using Draw to create window headers. For a screenshot of this example visit: Window Header Example Screenshot
